A new year, and a fresh start

I don’t make New Year’s resolutions, but do look to try to improve mine, and my husband’s lives.

With all his health issues it is not easy, but now the temperatures are a little cooler in Florida, I am going to try and get him to walk a little more.  With neuropathy of the feet, it is not easy.

We have a beautiful river walk, downtown, and that is where we need to start.  As you know I workout at the gym everyday, but now I need to concentrate on getting Len moving a little more.  The podiatrist said that it is the only way to help his feet.

What plans do you have for the New Year?

  1. Thanks for stopping by my blog, Susie. I’m so glad to have discovered yours — a nice bit of serendipity on the first day of 2017. My husband and I live in the Pensacola area. I’m 65 and he just turned 79. We’ve put the “big house” on the market and will most likely relocate once it sells to somewhere within 50 miles (preferably less) of the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. We are fitness-oriented folks as well.

  2. I hope you have a happy 2017! I don’t do new Year’s Resolutions either. I just want to finish some writing projects I’m working on, and play a lot of video games this year 🙂

It’s really interesting to me to look back on older posts. This one at the beginning of 2017, was about Len’s health issues. Although we haven’t managed the river walk, he is doing a little bit at the gym, 2 to 3 times a week.
