Run Baby Sport Ab Exercise Mat

I go to the gym every day, unless we are at the beach, which is the case this week.  I work on my abs most days, and am really proud of my shape.

I had a chance to test the Ab Exercise Mat : Best Ab Mat, Exercise/ Workout Mat for Strong & Defined Six Pack & Core Abdominal Muscles by Run Baby Sport, so figured I couldn’t loose anything by trying it.

It looks more like a cushion than a mat, but as you can see from my photos, fits nicely for working out.  You put it under your lower back, and then lay down on it.  For someone just starting working out, it is easy enough to lift your back up from this position, come up, and then go back down.  Start off by doing 10, then rest, and try doing 2 more reps.

If you are more advanced then you can lift your head, elbows out, and hands behind your head.  This will give you more intensity.  You can also lay front down on it, or on your side.

The quality it good, and it is firm enough to support you working out.  It is easily cleaned, by just wiping the mat down with a sanitized cloth.

I have been using it for a week, and can feel it working on my abs.  The product title on the Amazon website, stating ‘defined six pack’, will be determined as to what age you are, how hard you work, and also if you are an older female like me, and have had a full hysterectomy.  I have a hard stomach, but with boxing, lifting, Zumba, circuit training, and crunches, I haven’t been able to achieve it.

I received this product at a discounted price, and have chosen to write an honest review.  In no way was I asked to write a positive one.

  1. Looks interesting, although putting your hands behind your head during sit-ups puts a lot of stress on your neck. Try placing your hands by the side of your head instead, by your ears.
