I had my hair in a French Twist for at least 20 years, and finally about 18 months ago, changed it to a ponytail twisted around into a 4 inch clip
. This keeps my hair neat, and tidy, and everyone loves it.
So when I saw the Hair Bun Shapers by Augur I wanted to try them out, and see if they really worked.
There are 3 different colors, and as I am a blonde, I used the lightest colored one. I read the instructions on the package, and went into the bathroom. I played with the bun tool, and my hair for quite awhile, until I finally got the ends to bend.
As you can see in my photos, I had the bun on my neck, then hair hanging out the side, and finally one that looked halfway decent. My husband thought it looked fine.
If you have someone to do it for you, it would be a piece of cake. However, I have to do my own hair, and plan on spending a lot more time with the hair bun tool, until I get perfection. It will happen.
I like that I will be able to change my hairstyle whenever I feel like it. Going to the gym each day, I need a style where my hair is pulled away from my face, and neck.
It’s a really nice bonus to get the 2 free Athena retro hair clips.
I did receive my package for free, and as you can tell by my review, I have been totally honest with my opinion.
