Having moved to the U.S. 30 years ago, both my husband and I, lived a long time in England. He was 54, and I was 40 when we came here.
It doesn’t matter that the temperature is in the 90’s in Florida. I still had the oven on for 3 hours this afternoon.
Pork, stuffing, roast potatoes, carrots, peas, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, Brussel sprouts, and OXO (beef) gravy.
While the oven was on, I also made my husband 12 double sized no sugar added cupcakes.
This is a ritual, and although it may not be every Sunday, I cook this way as often as time allows. I have enough vegetables for several other meals, as I always eat healthy. My husband ate all his big dinner. I ate half, and it was amazing.
