A couple of nights ago I was going to throw away the last third of a Cuban loaf. I had made garlic toast with it, and it was starting to get hard.
I got a bowl, sliced the bread and buttered it, added dollops of no sugar added jam, and raisins to it. Then I soaked it in fat free/skimmed milk.
I then added water to the Instant Pot, the stand, and put the pudding into a pan. I pressure cooked it for 4 minutes, and it tasted better than I made in the oven, 40 years ago.
Having always cooked, and owned a restaurant, I never measure. I know when it looks right.
Just thinking of what to try next.
