So the restaurants have been sending him coupons for a free meal. There are only so many you can accept.
Last week it was a free Rooty Tooty Fresh ‘n’ Fruity from iHOP. With Len’s diabetes he couldn’t eat that, so he had an omelette, and I ate one third of it, and brought the rest home. Just too many carbs, and sugar.
Today it was Golden Corrall, so we went after his electro-cardiologist’s visit. If you don’t know it is an ‘all you can eat buffet’. We haven’t been to one in several years.
I was bad, had a little breakfast, soup, ham from the carvery and the chocolate fountain. I did dip with strawberries if that counts.
Tomorrow it will be Dennys, and Len gets the Grand Slam, so I can choose a lighter meal. Saturday when I drive down to Treasure Island, we always stop at Sonny’s B.B.Q., so he will get his for free.
These are a few of the offers we chose to use, but the list is endless. Most give you 2 weeks to use the coupons, but a couple insist you go on your birthday, and take your driver’s license with you.
I know that a pub chain do this in England, but do other countries too?
