We bought a new HP laptop back in February, and I have never been sure if it was the laptop, or Spectrum that were causing my problems. Freezing, circling, the page disappearing, just to name a few of the problems. So today we went to Wal-Mart to pick up Len’s prescription for insulin, and he walked over to the technology department.
We spent a long time with one of the employees, and he reassured me that I would get up to 6 times the speed of my older one, just 9 months old, with the HP Pavilion 17-ar050wm Laptop 17.3″ FHD IPS anti-glare WLED-backlit (1920 x 1080) AMD Quad-Core A10-9620P 8GB RAM 1TB HDD DVD-Writer Windows 10 Home 64.
We got home 3 hours ago, and I have it working, as I am using it right now. I have about ten of my important pages in favorites. I have taken some photos, and they immediately appeared in my One Drive, on this laptop. I compressed some photos, and am now checking to see how easy it is to submit a blog post.
My speed test came up at 110 mbps the first time, 100 the second time. We are paying for 100 mbps with Spectrum, and have barely been getting 38 – 40 with the other laptop.
I am really hoping that this is going to solve the Internet problem we have, and still have no idea about the landline that keeps going out.
So far very happy with double the memory, and hard drive storage.
I paid $60 less than the Amazon price, and brought it home with me.
