Christmas dinner 9 days early.

Yes, I do this every year.  I cook a 15 – 20 lb. turkey the Sunday before we head down to our timeshare, at Treasure Island beach, so that I can take a cooked turkey breast with me.  I wrap it well in aluminum foil, and put it in a freezer bag, to keep it perfect for Christmas day.

So today I have made 3 lbs. of sausage meat stuffing, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, peas, Brussel sprouts, and OXO gravy, with the juices of the turkey added to it.

Len and I will have it for dinner today, and tomorrow.  I will also be taking a plate of Christmas food to my next-door neighbor, as she lives on her own.
