I cannot believe how quickly this year has flown by. They say the older you get, the faster they go, and that is so true.
I am pleased to say that hubby’s 4 chronic illnesses are still at the same stage as this time last year. Yes, we have had many doctor’s visits, but no hospital stays, which I feel truly blessed.
We have both maintained a similar weight throughout the year, and have gone to the gym every day that is possible. Yes, New Year’s eve, day, and any other holiday we are home we go. My boxing has got faster, and punches harder. I have started lifting weights, as well as hand weights, and doing Zumba toning with weights.
I have been lucky enough to have wonderful sellers that provide me with free, or discounted items to review. I can’t remember the last time I paid full price for clothing, or shoes for me.
We have had our 4 week vacations at the beach, and stayed other times throughout the year. Len and I started playing table tennis again (ping pong), which we find a lot of fun.
We still go out to eat at a nice restaurant once a week for lunch, and sometimes stop off at a fast food one, for Len to get a snack.
We bought a new vehicle, and this time instead of a S.U.V., it is a car. What else could I drive but a FIT, by Honda.
We stay in for New Year’s eve, and have done for around 8 years now. Better to be safe than sorry.
I know this is early, and I will write tomorrow, but wanted to wish all my friends, and followers, a Happy, healthy, New Year. I wish you the best.
