Yesterday I did go to the gym, to teach basic boxing, and I had a new lady that wasn’t easy. First off she loved to talk, secondly when I said we are going to stretch our shoulders, and arms, she decided to get on the floor, and do some kind of stretching.
Then another 10 minutes, because she wasn’t happy with the boxing stance. She kept stretching her leg, and holding it. I suggested we concentrate on the jabs, and punches, and to forget about the way she was standing.
We did 35 minutes, and I told her that I only spend 30 minutes of my time. I was left wanting. I came out of the boxing room, and did a little stretching. We did go out for lunch, which was nice, and then the rest of the day my leg was elevated, with ice on, and off.
Today I didn’t do Zumba, and everyone was asking why. I did stretches, and just a little arm work. Then I went down to my boxing trainer. I have been working with his son, so that he can train in boxing. He gave me the best workout ever. I didn’t bend my right knee, but the way we fought was fast, and furious.
The sweat was dripping from every part of my body, and I had to have 10 minutes recovery, and a snack before driving home. I am so pumped up, that I can’t wait for next week, and my next boxing session.
No, I will not be doing Zumba on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. This knee has to get better.
