After the first attempt at Muay Thai Kickboxing, I had several bruises. A week later when I went back, my elbow wasn’t too bad, but had bruising on my left shin. This is because I am not using the right leg, due to my knee issues.
You will be pleased to know that I have on order both the elbow and shin protectors. I got them on Amazon, and neither do Prime shipping, so hoping they will arrive early on the 7th, prior to my hour session. Yes, it’s an hour as we have so much going on Tuesday, and Wednesday afternoons.
I will keep you informed of my progress, as it’s so much fun combining boxing with the kicking, arms, elbows, and knee.
plus think how much more polite everyone will be to you when they know you are training at this. 🙂

I did Muay Thai for 8 years I grew to like my bruises and I had some nasty ones. Kinda felt like a badge of honor to me. Lol

My skin is thinner because of my age, 71, so protection is necessary.
