I have an angel in my life.

I have a very special lady that I met at the gym.  She is young enough to be my daughter, and I would be so proud of her if she was.  She works, and can only come to my boxing on odd occasions.  Today she said that she could make it later than my regular time.

So I was back in the boxing room when she arrived.  She is sweet, polite, and has a heart of gold.  She thanked me for staying there for her, and gave me some of her homemade pumpkin, and nut bread.  She brought it once before for me, and it is amazing.

She gets back into boxing immediately, and gives it her all.  I told her today that if she could box at least twice a week, she could be good enough to go way pass me.

Sunday we are planning on meeting up, so that she can take a video on her phone, of me going through the positions with her.  This way she can come after work, as I only go in the mornings.

She made my day.  Do you have a ‘ray of sunshine’ in your life.

  1. That is such a nice story to hear about a kind hearted and also motivated younger woman. My ray of sunshine is my horse. And my Grandson. And my daughter now that she is an adult and a mother herself and my son who is visiting us from London. He makes me laugh and that is always a ray of sunshine.
