Facebook reminded me of my steps 7 years ago.

Yes, that was my pedometer 7 years ago, when we were staying at the beach.  I had no problems then, walking 19 miles in the water’s edge, in one day.

Now it’s different, because I spend a lot more time with my husband, and don’t walk for hours on end.  When we have meetings, or church, I do around 15,000 to 17,000 steps.  Then when we are there for a full week I often do 24,000 to 28,000 steps a day.

This really put a smile on my face, as I was eating runny oatmeal with mashed in banana, which I love, but looking forward to eating solid food soon.


  1. My goodness! I used to get about 5000-7000 steps on my good days. Now that I’m recovering from my surgery I get about 2000 daily. I know that isn’t enough but I have to move slowly into more. I’m surely impressed by your stamina and determination! I hope you can eat solid foods soon!
