This was a local derby, and was exciting because we know who will be the top two, but the following four is such a tight race. It is important as the top four go on to play in the European games in the coming year.
There are so many scenarios as Spurs have played an extra game, and are only 3 points above Chelsea, 4 for Arsenal, and 6 for Manchester United.
With 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw, and 0 for a loss, if a team loses it could mean that they could easily be overtaken. Spurs only have 2 more games, and the others 3. This time of the year every game is so important.
The other games today are Cardiff and Fulham, which is now on the television. Fulham are already going down to the lower division, and Cardiff City are third from the bottom. 3 go down. Right now they are drawing 0 – 0. However, Brighton & Hove Albion are only 2 points above them, and they play at 12.30 against Newcastle. Southampton are not out of the woods, as they are in 16th place and losing to Bournemouth at halftime.
To hard die fans like hubby and I, we can’t take our eyes off the screen, and often watch one match in one room, and another in the bedroom.
So no gym this morning 🙂 as they only have around 20 stations, and no soccer ones. We plan on going this afternoon.
