You can turn right on red, but stop first!

Today we were doing a lot of running around, and our roads are very congested, not like the photo I found.

I was turning off the main highway, and there were around 6 vehicles before me, including a Sheriff’s car.  The lights were red, and to the right of us was clear.  Pretty much every vehicle didn’t stop at the line, before turning.

When my turn came I did a complete stop, and then turned, only to see that the Sheriff’s car had pulled someone up.  They were in the median directly after the right turn.

Most countries don’t have this available to them, and I think it is great that the traffic can move, but wish that motorists would adhere to the rules.
