We could have stayed at the timeshare until this morning, but hubby wanted to come home yesterday. By the time we had had breakfast, I walked the beach, packed, and then got everything down the stairs, and into the car, it was 1 p.m. (Yes, Treasure Island Beach Club doesn’t have elevators).
The traffic seemed to be even worse than in the winter, when the snowbirds are here. I guess it was because of being Friday, as I haven’t driven back on a Friday for a year or more.
We finally got to Dunedin, and the Cricketers pub, around 2.20 p.m. Had a very average meal. Details coming up in another post, and back onto U.S.19. It was backed up so bad that the lights changed 4 or 5 times to get onto it.
I had my mail held for me to pick up, and the post office closed at 4.30 p.m. We made it with 5 minutes to spare. This journey usually take 1 and a half hours.
I took the cold boxes in the house, and then went to Walgreens to pick up prescriptions.
I did unpack the food, and brought everything in, but today will be unpacking the cases.
Hubby slept well, and I was awake a good part of the night. Now to get back into a routine.
Not complaining, as my weeks at the beach, are the best ever,
