Working on my abs today at the gym.

We saw the first half of the Liverpool – Leicester City match at home, and then drove down to the gym for the second half.

I went on the treadmill as always, and worked out with my 8 lb. weights for the 45 minutes.  I had another ten minutes left before driving home.

I went on an ab machine, where you put your elbows in the slots, hold on, and swings your knees up, while keeping your back, pulled back.  Then come back, and repeat.

I then went onto the machine where you tuck your feet under the bar, and lay backwards with it lowered at an angle.  Instead of my 10 lb. weight, or 2 – 8 lb. weights, I went with a 25 lb. one.  I could certainly feel the pull on my abs as I rose up.  I only did 2 reps of 10, and went back to the other machine.

Since my right knee has had a problem, I can’t do lunges, mountain climbers etc., to help my abs, so always find a way around it.

Now home, and watching the West Ham match against Crystal Palace.  The hammers are winning 1 – 0, but with them both being London teams, I don’t have a preference. Crystal Palace got a penalty in the 63rd minute to equalize.

A VAR decision gave Palace a goal in the 90th minute.  So the final score is a win for Crystal Palace 2 to 1.
