Sanding Ovations is now taking place at Treasure Island.

I have been lucky enough to see the Sanding Ovations on the beach, behind the Bilmar/Sloppy Joe’s, most years.

Today the traffic was pretty bad entering Treasure Island, but that was to be expected.  By the time we got settled in, and I had walked with my husband to the Voyager, I figured I had time to walk to the display.

I walked in the water’s edge until I arrived there.  It was very busy as not only are the sand sculptures there, but a stage with live music, food and drink stalls, and lots of tents with local traders.

I quickly checked out a few of the sculptures, and then walked back.

Any parking near the area was taken, so I knew that hubby couldn’t go with me.  These usually stand the weather conditions for a couple of weeks, so I am planning on parking close by during the week, and enjoying them with hubby.  I will then take lots of photos without people in them.
