My busy weekend.

After being at the beach last week, I had a lot I wanted to do over the weekend.

Yesterday we watched 3 Premier League football matches, but I was busy all the time.  I have to admit that we stayed in bed for the first half yesterday, as it started at 7.30.  Did the usual morning stuff, and then got down the gym in time for the 10 a.m. match.  The first half I walked on the treadmill, while lifting 8 lb. weights.  I didn’t just hold them, I had them in every angle possible, without hitting the person next to me.  During the 15 minute break it was half a 6 ounce cup of coffee, and back on the treadmill, until the end of the match.  Came home, and got lunch.  I then typed up the 3 lots of minutes for the last timeshare A.G.M.  Then it was food shopping, and cooking dinner.  I now spend my evenings on WordPress, with an eye on the television, if it interests me.

This morning it was up, and preparing the sausage meat stuffing, cleaning the turkey, and getting it into the oven, while keeping an eye on the Arsenal match.  Hubby was ready to go down the gym for the second half, but I wasn’t even dressed.  We got there 10 minutes into it, just in time to see Arsenal score.  I went on the treadmill to watch the match, and started without an incline, then went to 10, back down, up to 15, back down, 10 again, and finished up level.  From here I did the last 35 minutes of the Zumba class.  Then out for the Manchester United match.  I did another 47 minutes more on the treadmill.

When I got home, it was a small protein shake, as I didn’t want to spoil my appetite for the roast turkey dinner.  It took me until 3.15 to have it on the table.  Turkey, stuffing, roast potatoes, 8 vegetables, Yorkshire puddings, and OXO gravy.  I took a plate to my neighbor next door.

After eating I then drove to the pharmacy to pick up hubby’s prescription.

Now I have to break up the rest of the turkey, and freeze a breast to take with us for Christmas at the beach.

I will do some reading when that is done.
