What amazing friends I have here.

Most writers will say followers, but you are truly friends to me.  I can’t thank you enough for the encouragement you have shown me recently in the comments.  I will try and reply to you all, but just wanted to say ‘How special you all are’.

I was a little down writing the last post, but I am back to my bubbly self, having got that feeling off my chest.

This morning while hubby was drinking coffee, and hanging out with his Veteran buddies at the gym, I did an hour of Zumba.  An hour isn’t enough for me, so I am now going to do a YouTube workout from Hasfit.

What would I be without working out, and my very dear friends at WordPress.

50 minute workout completed.  Yea.


  1. Wow an hour of Zumba and needed more. I am trying my best to average between 4 and 6,000 steps daily. But we still dance two days a week for an hour each day. And that is in addition to my daily stretching exercises of 15 to 20 minutes a day. Seeing that I turn 80 this year, I guess I’m not doing too bad. I am still upright and on the right side of the grass. Oh, and I can appreciate your concerns re your hubby’s diabetes. My wife has Type 2 and been dealing with it for 35 years now. Take care. Irwin

  2. You are doing amazing. Hubby is 86, and struggling to walk now. Diabetic 46 years, heart and kidney failure for 26 now. Today 45 minutes up to 15 incline on treadmill, then 45 minutes Zumba, followed by another 45 of incline on treadmill. Hubby wasn’t well yesterday so did extra today.
