Following up on our day.

Hubby managed to walk around the gym twice with his walker.  This has been the first time in weeks.  He said he was embarrassed, but walked with it lifted up, and putting it down, and holding on to rest.  Yes, he admitted it was nice to stop with it, to catch his breathe.

My new medication, which I was told to take half a pill for the first week, made me fall asleep immediately.  I woke up at 8 a.m. instead of 3, 4, 5, etc., and then fell back to sleep until 9, when I got up.  Hubby said that the extra strength doze of his medication didn’t make any difference, he mainly slept in the recliner.  I told him today he will be taking the extra strength twice a day, so hoping that the full dose might make him feel better.  It could also take several days to totally kick in.

This afternoon I got onto a local physical therapy office, and they are really booked up.  The first available one is Tuesday morning, so I went ahead, and booked it.

Between the two, I am really praying that he starts to feel better.

  1. The beginnings are always hard, but the most important thing is how we cope with the future and how we change in time.
The most important thing is that we managed to get out of the comfort zone and make a difference.
Take care out there and have a wonderful week! ^^
