My best workout this week.

I haven’t been up to my best workouts in the past 3 weeks, with so much going on with hubby.  So today I am really pleased that as we both had a good night’s sleep, and I was able to give it my all.

This mornings Body Combat was a ten minute warm up.  It consisted of punches, knees, kicks, squats/jumping jacks, and jogging steps.  From there we did boxing, which of course is my favorite.  We did several combinations, including knees, and kicks.  30 minutes flew by, and by the time they were going onto the next set, I was done.

I then spent another 30 minutes stretching, and bouncing on the upside down Bosu ball.

Drove hubby home, and a quick protein shake with fruit and nuts, and then to my Muay Thai kickboxing.  I was already hyped up, and had the best session possible.  We have been getting more advanced all the time, and today was a day when I stepped in punched, and hit the body with 6 uppercuts, dropped down, and pulled out.  It was exhausting but so much fun.  By the end of my session I had no breath left, and the sweat was dripping off me.  Love, love it.

I drove to the post office, and got gas, and am now home relaxing, and watching the Club Brugge match against Manchester United in Spanish.  it is the 90th minute, and the score is 1 – 1.  I am pleased to say that the 3 p.m. match Olympiakos Piraeus – Arsenal is on another station, and will be in English.

The final score a 1 – 1 draw.

This is my kind of day.
