My girlfriend and I spent an hour at John Chestnut Park in East Lake this afternoon.  There was sunshine, and cloud, which was perfect to stretch our legs on the boardwalk.

We enjoy this huge park, as it has plenty of wildlife, deer, alligators, birds, turtles etc., a lake that is big enough for boating, there are sports facilities, and a dog park.

We parked at Shelter 10, which tells you that you could almost get lost, as it is so vast.

Spring, and autumn are a perfect time for a visit.
