Tornado warning at 5.30 a.m.

We were fast asleep when the landline rang during the night.  As soon as the message started I was wide awake.  It was a Tornado warning for our area, and to make sure we stayed safe.  This is the first time we have had one.

Of course it took me a long time to get back to sleep.  Can you believe we didn’t wake up until 9.40.  The latest I have ever woke up.

On the news this morning everyone is safe, just some minor property damage.

  1. That’s about how our Easter night went, but it went off at 3AM. And there was lots of property damage and 8 deaths. A total of 20 deaths between here in Georgia and Alabama, scary stuff, but nothing close to us. Makes you feel so bad for those dealing with that on top of everything else.
