Trying out WordPress Block editor before June 1st.

Using bold.

That works.

List kind of worked

Paragraph worked.

If you don’t try it, you will never know.

Me.

Quote worked.

Cover worked. I really didn’t want this photo, but it’s just a test.

I haven’t done any audio, but left it in.

I have done page break, so learned a lot this morning.

Now to put the featured photo in.

Hope this hasn’t annoyed anyone, but have to use it, as it’s not long before we all have to.

Document on the right allowed me to scroll down for featured image, categories, and tags. I found that out from my very good online friend Liz, she is amazing.

  1. Congratulations on a successful trial run. I’d happily rock along with the classic editor, but once again change rears its ugly head and I must accept the inevitable. When the block editor was introduced and I thought the classic editor would immediately disappear, I was the griper-in-chief. Now it just doesn’t seem to make that much difference. Something about that mask puts everything into perspective.

  2. It would be helpful if there was a way to try it in private first, of course there may well be but like you I just bashed out a test page.
I’m not at all sure what I don’t like about it but it just doesn’t feel right, although we will have to stick with it as they usually stop the old version and force you to use the new one.
