Our doctor changed his night time insulin time, from 9.30 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. To begin with his numbers were a little higher morning, and night, but have been coming down gradually.
Well this morning he had a 54. so we increased his breakfast intake. This evening we will reduce it by a unit of insulin at night, and see how that goes.
Even though he has been diabetic for 46 years, we still have to do little tweaks here, and there. I am hoping this will work. If not, we will decrease it by another unit. Slow, and easy is the way to go when it comes to health.
Your hubby is lucky to have you. I had 2 relatives who had stage 5 and passed away before age 50.

You are a nurse in your own right. You are a blessing, so strong and giving him the best life! I don’t know if I could do all you do, thought you deserve this recognition of being such an excellent care giver! ❤️❤️❤️
