One of my skin biopsies came back cancerous.

I have been waiting patiently for the call from the dermatologists office. We continually get robo calls, and when the i.d. comes up on the television we let them go to voicemail.

The dermatologist’s office called, and it came up on the screen. I reached for the phone, and answered it. It was a recorded message from one of these companies. I said to it, that I am hanging up, and of course lost the call from the doctor’s office.

I tried phoning them back, and pressed for the operator, and it came up to leave a message. I hung up. I waited a few minutes, and finally got them. The biopsy on my back was just a mole, but the one on my leg needs treatment. I asked what, and she said that the doctor will discuss it with me on my visit.

It is booked for the 13th of this month. Here we go again.

  1. Hope it’s only a BCC or no worse than squamous. I remember with my first BCC I got a similar call and was freaked out (they didn’t say exactly what type of skin cancer in message). I’ve had 2 BCCs now and that’s one of the reason why I want to move back to cloudy rainy Oregon. The sun is very strong here in Colorado – not as far south as Florida but high elevation.

  2. Thank you for sharing!.. perhaps they are not taking any chances and dealing with it now rather than waiting… I suspect you will be helping your hubby for a long time to come!.. 🙂

    Until we meet again..
May flowers always line your path
    and sunshine light your way,
    May songbirds serenade your
    every step along the way,
May a rainbow run beside you
in a sky that’s always blue,
And may happiness fill your heart
each day your whole life through.
