Soapbox: As customers are forced to cheat on their favorite brands, will they come back?
I’ve been forced to switch brands. Hardly any switches will be reversed.

I guess we’ve been fortunate. I haven’t switched any major brands. Also, recently the shelves on the major food markets have been fully stocked, with even the paper towels and toilet paper being sold without any limits.

It depends on the brand. In some cases, the brands priced themselves out of my food budget decades ago. It’s been a while since I have been brand specific on most things as price tends to be the limiting factor.

My husband’s butter/margarine was and is still unavailable at around $5. I got him a store brand that isn’t quite as healthy, it’s half the price, and he prefers it.

I go on labels, not brands, because of hubby health issues.
