The early match was Wolverhampton Wanderers against West Bromwich Albion. This should have been a walkover for Wolves, but they lost 3 – 2. It was an exciting game, to my surprise, and there could have been a whole lot more, with the chances both sides had.
I went to the gym, and got home for the final few minutes of the Leeds United – Brighton and Hove Albion, and the West Ham United – Burnley matches. I am delighted to say that both the southern/London teams won their matches 1 – 0.
We are now watching a London derby with Fulham and Chelsea. Chelsea should win as they are 9th in the league, and Fulham are in the relegation zone in 18th place. We are over 40 minutes into the match, and it is still 0 – 0. I don’t have any feelings about this one, because if Chelsea win, it’s not good for Fulham, if they draw they both loose 2 points, and if Fulham win then Chelsea could drop in the bottom half of the Premier League.
