Where were Liverpool today?

They certainly weren’t the Premier League football team that we have come to know, and some to love. To me they had lost the hunger, that is needed to fight for every ball, and to score goals.

Burnley, who were in 17th position in the league, played as well as Liverpool, and in the 83rd minute got a penalty when Liverpool’s goalkeeper brought the Burnley player down.

Barnes scored the penalty, even though the keeper went the right way. So a Burnley win over Liverpool, who failed to score at home.

Manager Klopp, when interviewed at the end of the match, put the blame on himself.
