I have been on the phone for hours today. I phoned the doctor’s office, and his doctor actually phoned back. I spoke with her, and it had to be her P.A. that did the paperwork yesterday. She didn’t know that Len had had a TIA. She told me to phone all the radiology offices in the area, and get the earliest one possible. So that is what I did. I had one for Thursday, but they wouldn’t hold it for me, and then found one for tomorrow afternoon. So we will have to go early and fill in all the paperwork. If he had been going to the one he has had for the last 20+ years, it would have been far more straight forward. I then had to phone the doctor’s office back for them to give the referral, wait an hour, and call back to make sure that the radiologist had it. He is having a carotid artery ultrasound. If they are blocked then he could have a major stroke. At least we will know either way.
I also had to pick up another prescription for him. We tried to get them all on the same day each month, but it just hasn’t worked out that way. I seem to go twice a week.
I am pleased to say that I missed most of the Premier League football, which I was looking forward to watching. Arsenal got a second RED card in the second half, so with 9 players ended up losing to Wolves. I don’t think I could have watched Manchester United beat Southampton, 9 – 0. Southampton too, got a RED card. The only match that made me smile was Crystal Palace, who won their match.
We have now eaten dinner, so it’s finally time for me to relax. Looking forward to a new programme to hit Britbox. It’s a true crime drama called The Pembrokeshire Murders.
Using one of my relaxing sunset photos, that I have taken, over the years.
Susie, hope (& pray!) your husband will be okay!! 💐🙏💐
