Although hubby was in the Royal Air Force for 22 years, he has worn a Marine’s facemask all the time. This is because his grandson is coming up for 20 years in the US Marines.
Hubby was wearing it when he left the house in the ambulance. He was in the E.R. for 3 hours before I was allowed to go in the building. He had a throwaway one on, but I didn’t pay much attention to it. I probably assumed it was in the bag with his top, and shorts.
When I went to pick him up, I realized that it was missing. I ordered him this one online, from Amazon. It came today, and he is very happy with it.
Things like that are important.
