Peace and solitude.

Since hubby’s passing I have either been on FaceTime, the Lord knew that I would need an iPhone, even though I have a fairly new android phone, texting, and phone calls.

I have loved as many of your amazing comments here on WordPress, and Facebook, but am unable to reply to them individually.

It’s been wonderful to see my daughter on FaceTime as it was always emails, and the occasional phone call, due to her being a 24/7 caregiver to my youngest granddaughter. She is on the high end of the spectrum, with severe learning disabilities. Hubby’s daughter has been on FaceTime often, and his half sister in England.

I Facebook Messenger with my brother, and sister in law in England just before he passed, but need to do it again.

I have thousands of friends throughout the world, and haven’t had anytime to be lonely, even though I am on my own.

Again, thank you all so much. ❤️❤️❤️

  2. I tap ‘like’ & it seems odd. I don’t like the unwanted things you two have experienced. I tap ‘like’ in simple support because words often seem empty. Still though, I’ll state that I hope for you all the love & strength you need & peace for your husband’s soul. I don’t expect or need a response from this comment.

  3. Dear Susie, I cannot imagine how you must feel. I hope I won’t be there for a very long time. I know you loved your husband the same way I love mine. So many chapters in a lifetime, some of them we don’t like.

Take good care of yourself. Stay in the real-life a bit more, surround yourself with real people, families, and friends. We are not going anywhere.

    My condolences!

  5. It must be such a hard time but it is wonderful that we have the means to connect out to family overseas nowadays. My husband has a weekly video chat with his mom (she had a stroke last year). I’m hoping that once Covid is under control that maybe you can make a trip to England. I know it’s something you haven’t been able to do due to Len’s health issues. My husband can’t really go to China now either. Too difficult and they require a quarantine upon arrival.

  6. Susie you are in my prayers. It is hard being away from family. I was blessed to have one part of my family here. For me the hard part has been a lack of any kind of service until later. It feels unfinished. I am so glad you have been able to connect with your family. Suzanne

  7. My condolences Susie. You are such a strong woman. I am here for you. This site has gotten me through some tough times. My uncle passed from cancer a few months now. We were closer. It’s hard but I definitely find the support helps. God bless.
