I feel great.

I had a really good week at the beach, it was much needed. The first 3 weeks after Len’s death, I did what was needed, but it’s strange, because I feel that I wasn’t in control.

Yes, I went to the funeral home, went back and picked up the death certificates, and urn. I made lots of phone calls, filled in lots of forms, went to the D.M.V, got social security sorted out. Struggled with contacting England pensions, because of lockdown. I never succeeded in getting through to anyone on the phone, which was so frustrating. I survived in this time, but I was only going through the motions.

I got home yesterday afternoon, and took it really easy. Today I woke up with lots of energy. I got unpacked, been through all the correspondence, and have piles that are completed, others that need more information/documents, and a couple still to do.

Next it was up to the gym, and I was boxing like my old self. Not just going through the motions like I had been, but giving it a bashing.

I think that I need to plan a few days at the beach every month, because it’s better than going to the doctor’s office.
