My pension from England keeps me guessing.

I got mail from England yesterday, and as it was in a brown envelope I guessed it was from one of Len’s 3 pensions. I opened it up, and all it said was Department for Works & Pensions, and that they were returning a document, and starting a claim. Nothing else.

As I have been in contact with his RAF one, I know it’s not that one, but I haven’t heard from the KCC one either. I just wish they had put a reference to help me out.

If it’s this one it is our ‘old age pension’ that we both got.

Len got the full 40 year pension, and I got 25 years. If it hasn’t changed, a widow’s pension is two thirds of the full mount of the deceased. That’s exactly what I am getting with my own benefit.
