I filled a huge box with all the medical supplies, that I took to the center. It is a community based one, and that is why they accept sealed items for people that can’t pay. The lady opened up the box, and loved all the goodies I had for them.
I told her that I had the insulin in a bag, in the fridge, and forgot to bring it, so I had a second trip. She asked me if it had been refridgerated, and I said that it had come out of the fridge, and straight into the coldbox I had in my hand. You could see the damp on the top of it, where the iceblocks were.
She told me that it was like golddust, and that they really appreciated me bringing it in.
I love being able to donate to charities. It makes me feel better about Len’s death.
