She drove us up to Homosassa Springs, and we went into the gift shop, and then went down the road to the restaurant, Florida Cracker. We had both been to Homosassa before, and see manatees in our local rivers, so it wasn’t worthwhile for us to do the river tour. We were not tourists.
The restaurant was on the water. We both ordered cocktails, and a starter of Blue crabmeat dip with Pita bread. The cocktails were really good, and so was the crabmeat dip. We spent around an hour, looking over at Monkey Island, before heading to our next destination.
Making new memories one day at a time.
