I have still been making huge quantities of food, to fill up my oven, and then freezing it. However, it can mean having it for 2 or 3 meals a week for a couple of weeks. So how can I stop myself from cooking for the masses, when there is only me.
I had a 2 slice toaster oven probably for the past 20 years. We used the toaster for making toast, so this got used for cooking roast potatoes. tater tots for hubby, and not much else. That is going to the Am Vets, as it is still working great.
I bought the 6 slice Oster Convection/Toaster Oven. I checked the inside, and outside measurements, as I don’t have a lot of counter space. This one is longer, and deeper, but still fits in the same spot. I don’t eat pizza, but it will cook a 9 inch pizza. I wanted to ensure that my casserole dish would fit in it, and when I knew it would, I bought it. It would have been foolish to buy any bigger, as I might as well use the oven.
I will be able to cook my Shepherd’s pie in it, cauliflower cheese, and other dishes that I enjoy.
I paid $44.88 which is such a good price.

When you open the door the back is round, and that’s why a casserole dish works great.

Not only because I now don’t need to use the oven, it bakes, broils does casseroles, appetizers, it’s amazing! I do chicken breasts, baked potato, veggies, you name it and you can do any number of desserts. I can’t say enough about it. Makes my life so much easier.

I don’t need the oven, or the dishwasher now, as cooking for one doesn’t warrant the use of either. Len used to eat a lot.
