Part 1.
There was no room at the Inn, so to speak. Today was the first time that I had driven to Treasure Island beach at peak time. We had a board meeting at 10.30 a.m., but board members tend to meet up around 10.
I set my alarm for 6.30 a.m., and got my clothes ready last night. By the time I had showered, coffee, breakfast, dressed, and makeup on, and got bottles of water for the journey, and beach, I left an hour later.
Apart from a really bad traffic jam on US19 at Tarpon Springs, the rest of the journey was excellent. I arrived on property at 9.15 a.m. I got a bottle of water, and walked the boardwalk, between hotels/motels, timeshares, and the beach for 30 minutes. It was nice to stretch my legs.
Our meeting took around an hour and a half, and all the other officers left. I used the bathroom, even though I had a bikini under my clothing, and got ready for the beach. I walked in the water’s edge for an hour, going to John’s Pass, and back, and then walking halfway, and back. My water was gone, and it was getting hot. The high today was 92 degrees.
Next part of the day will follow, as soon as I have checked the mail, and caught up with daily chores.
How lovely to walk on the beach in the sunshine. Enjoy Susie.
