I would cook everything that Len loved, and eat it too. If it was fried. or ‘crap’ food as I called it, I would do my fluffy scrambled eggs, or soft boiled eggs with toast solders.
So thrown out are Salisbury steaks, tator tots, from the freezer, and cans of sausage gravy , etc. from the pantry.
Tonight I cooked steamed vegetables in the Instant Pot, and salmon in my convection oven. It’s the first time I have used convection baking, and I overcooked the salmon. Luckily it was still edible.
I will use half the time of a regular oven, and see how that goes.
I hate overcooked fish

Cyberspouse didn’t like fish much, but I love salmon and have it with mashed potato ( comfort food ) and courgettes and cherry tomatoes baked in the oven with the fish.

It was okay, but next time I will test on cod, and hopefully get it right.

Cod doesn’t require too much cooking either but it’s always the way with new pieces of equipment, you have to experiment.

Still sounds delicious. How long did you bake the salmon?

It said 20 minutes, and I did it for 15. Today I did cod, and cut the time in half. It was perfect 👌
