July 12th was my mother’s birthday, and I have been thinking about family today. It hasn’t been all bad, because I realized that the 13th is the anniversary of ‘Live Aid’, that took place in 1985.
I bought Bohemian Rhapsody the day it came out on Amazon Prime, and watched the movie this afternoon. Luckily I finished it before we lost power for 4 and a half hours. I really enjoy the music of Queen, and this is one of the best movies that I have watched. I have lost count of how many times I have seen it now.

So a sad memory, and a happy one basically on the same day. It also made me think back to when I won the trip to Wembley, to see Michael Jackson. Len could have come with me, but he didn’t want to. I took my next-door neighbor instead, and we sat opposite Prince Charles, and Princess Diana.
I remember Live Aid very clearly!

Oh wow, Susie, so many memories – happy and sad. xoxoxo
I loved the movie too. Rami Malek was a great lead, and his singing was fabulous too.
As for sitting opposite Prince Charles and Princess Diana – wow, what a memory – one in a million.

Loved – Love Michael. The daughter saw him when he toured Australia back in 1996. She couldn’t believe how fantastic he was… Gone too soon, too!
