Winter months we walk, and then go to a coffee shop, but Florida summers, we go to a restaurant. This time I suggested Zim Zari, as I had been there in April with Len’s family. The photo is of Len’s daughter, and son-in-law, and shows the amazing fajitas.
We arrived at 2 p.m. only to find that the Happy hour didn’t start until 3. We will know if we decide to go back. We both ordered a Sangria, Donna white, and I had the red. It was a nice size glass.
She cheered me up, because we both have the warped English humor. Donna chose the beef tacos, and I had the shrimp fajitas. I had them last time, and knew they were good. We spent just over an hour there, and with tip was $50 for the 2 of us.
I was happy to be with Donna while she went to a couple of supermarket to get food. I picked up bananas that I was out of. We had to pass Panera Bread, so I popped in and got my free black decaf coffee, and a cup with half and half for her.
She dropped me home at 5 p.m., and my eyesight is almost back to how it was. If I had been home on my own, I wouldn’t have been able to get on my laptop, phone, or watch the television.
Now I have to chase a referral to the specialist until I can get an appointment, that won’t be until October.
