I do have an alarm on my phone for 8 a.m. every day. Most days I am awake before it goes off, but sometimes like this morning, when it was raining, and still is, my brain thinks it is the middle of the night.
Because the Olympic Mens Football has gone into extra time I am seeing it for the first time. Great Britain don’t have a men’s team representing them. The only recent entry was in 2012, when the Olympics were hosted in the U.K.
I may have got up at 4 a.m. or 7 a.m. if they had been playing, but haven’t had the interest it in without a team in the tournament.
Spain have just scored in extra time, when the score was still 0 – 0. Spain beat Japan 1 – 0, and meet Brazil in the final.
