I didn’t watch Friday’s match Newcastle – Leeds, and was happy that it was a 1 – 1 draw, which means that they only get 1 point each.
Saturday I was excited watching Wolves loose to little Brentford. Brentford went down to 10 men in the 64th minute, and still held on to their 2 – 0 win.
Next it was Arsenal who beat Burnley 1 – 0. Len would have been happy to see them off the bottom of the league, and now in 13th place. What a leap.
I didn’t watch the Liverpool match where they beat Crystal Palace 3 – 0. It was a result I was expecting.
Kudos for Southampton who were away to Manchester City, and it ended in a 0 – 0 draw. Watford beat Norwich 3 – 1, so now Norwich are at the bottom of the table. Lastly on Saturday Aston Villa, who are playing well beat Everton 3 – 0. An excellent result for them, and Sheree.
Sunday it was great seeing Brighton & Hove Albion winning 2 – 1 against Leicester City. Then a match that should have been a draw, but ended up with a missed penalty from Mark Noble in added time. This meant Manchester United winning 2 – 1.
The final match was a total walkover for Chelsea, who beat Tottenham (Spurs) 3 – 0. The second half was one of the best matches I have seen.
I was indeed delighted Susie

A bunch of overgrown children kicking a ball around. Pshaw. No hitting, no grabbing, little touching….a no contact sport. Might be a European thing, but we here in the States like a little contact in our football! Hee haw.
