I ended up going to the American Legion tonight, and was delighted when I saw Joey, and Lynn as our band. I have seen Joey prior to Len’s death, but it’s been ages since I have seen Lynn. She is a regular follower of me on Facebook, but Joey didn’t know of Len’s passing.
The second or third song was Crazy, and as you all know this is the song that Len asked every band to play. When it starts I will burst into tears. The people on our table had no idea what was going on. A little later I explained, and they certainly understood.
A song I didn’t like, but it was always played for Len and Sue/Susie, and it still haunts me after his death. A cross I will bear until it finally stops upsetting me.
Quite understandable if it’s your song

My hubby is a fan of Celine Dion but he can only listen to her when I’m out.

I understand. Every day’s steps help to carry you across another bridge. Blessings to you, Susie, in the coming week.
