I have a subscribe to save money on Pure Protein Bars from Amazon. This means I get 24 bars every 3 months. I know what day it is coming, so I am prepared for it.
Today I did Zumba class, and it wasn’t here. This afternoon I had my massage, picked up a to go free coffee at Panera, and then did an Aldi shop. I was gone most of the afternoon.
My garage is open, so the instructions for the drivers are to leave packages behind my garbage can, at the back of the garage. 9 out of 10 times they follow instructions. Of course today it being chocolate, I had 2 boxes with 24 gooey protein bars on my front door area. As the house faces south the sun blazed down on it.
I notified Amazon immediately, and already have the money credited back to my account. I do not have to return the items, as I would dread to think what they would be like if transported again. Perhaps that would have been fun to see them open it up.
I will not be ordering anymore food items, which is a shame, but the drivers can’t be trusted.
I’m annoyed with them too. They hardly ever bring packages to my door now, but instead stuff them in my mailbox or the Amazon mailbox, both down 3 flights of stairs. Kinda defeats the purpose of delivery…

I often get small items in the metal mailbox for our street and it’s in the sun too.

Sorry for your troubles. At least, Amazon is swift in refunding you.

I think the problem is the way the drivers are paid. They need to drop off asap and get onto the next delivery.

I’ve had drivers deliver my packages to the wrong house several times.

I get to keep them, and they should still taste okay 👌
