3 months ago when I went locally to have an eye test, I had my eyes dilated, and drove home, after telling me that I was being referred for a cataract evaluation. When I told my friends that I had been on my own, they gave me a hard time, and told me that there was no way I would be doing this one as it is a lot further, and I would be driving home at peak traffic time.
I have one picking me up and taking me to the appointment a little earlier than my allotted time. Then when the time comes I will wait, wait, and more waiting. They are renowned to take 2 and a half to 3 hours per appointment.
When I am done, I have to call another friend who will pick me up. She will be coming when the traffic is congested, so I am taking a meal protein bar with me, as I have no idea what time I will be home. Also I can’t stop off at a restaurant.
I will update you tonight, as long as I can see to type up a quick post.
Hope you are well. Driving is bad when eyes are dilated. Thank you 😊

Hope the exam goes well. Not sure how the do it where you are going but my eye doctor uses drops that dilate without lasting long. Why the time I was ready to leave they wore off, and they did not cause the effects of the old drops. Maybe you’ll get a good surprise

The optical outlet that I went to first, I could barely see. There is no where locally to stop off for an hour or two
