The loft has 2 Christmas trees, the ornaments, and Christmas items. I haven’t bothered to go up and get them.
I gave in yesterday, and got the tiny tree, the singing/dancing Father Christmas/Santa, and the tree in a bowl. Also, my family cards.

You must always weigh the fact that whatever decorations you put out, you are going to have to put away. I put mine up early and leave them up late to get the most “mileage” out of them for the holidays.

Thank you for sharing!!.. it’s not how much decorations one puts up but what is in the heart full of memories that matters.. I have a small artificial tree with a few ornaments that sets on a small table in the corner and I leave it up year around…. 🙂

I’d be struggling too. Heck, I have nothing to complain about and I’m stressing myself out over Christmas this year. It’s just a tough two weeks (I always group Christmas and New years together!) My dad died in my house in my kitchen New years day evening in 2003. It was the most traumatic thing that has ever happened to me but I look at it as an honor that I was there and he was with me in the end and I was his favorite child. So many years have passed now that New Years is okay but the holidays in general I love and almost hate at the same time. It’s hard to explain but I think you know what I mean!!! Giant HUGS for us caring, loving life to it’s fullest ladies!! ❤️🎄☃️💚

I have the dates that Mum and Dad passed, and now Len. However the first year and it’s almost 9 months now, of holidays are so painful.
