Please pull me out of the doldrums.

This positive lady is going nuts laying, sitting in bed all day, and night. I didn’t realize it was Covid on Sunday, as I was shaking and not feeling well. I thought it was a sugar low as I had been up and down the ladder putting stuff up in the loft.

Sunday night, all day Monday, Monday night, and it looks like all day today, and then tonight in bed. I only got up to do the Covid test, get water, coffee, and snacks. I couldn’t even stand long enough to make scrambled eggs. and go to the loo.

I have been on the phone constantly, and on the laptop for the odd couple of bits that had to be done. I finally got an answer that there are no monoclonal antibodies in the whole of Florida. When it finally arrives, the people with canceled appointments will get it first. I can’t even put my name down on a list. I have to phone daily to find out what the situation is. At least I have a phone number that works now, even though it took 2 phone calls, and a phone back to speak to someone.

Since living in Florida I have rarely been sick, but if I was, Len would tell me to go to bed, and call out if I needed anything. He couldn’t deal with sickness, even though I took care of his health needs for 43 years. At least there was someone else in the house, and that alone, was comforting.

  1. Hang in there, dear Cindy. ๐ŸŒธ I’m sure you’ll be feeling better very soon! Your excellent physical conditioning routine and healthy lifestyle is a big help. Sending you a ๐Ÿ˜˜ and ๐Ÿค— my friend. Stay strong and be well.

  2. During a press conference, I think it was today, it was announced that HHS is going to start sending the antibodies again. Hope you are able to get them soon. Sending up prayers.

  3. Hopefully a little silly joke will lighten your day and help pull you out of the doldrums.

What do Alexander the Great and Winnie the Pooh have in common?

    Same middle name.

Hope you’re up and about soon! โค

  4. If watching movies or old tv shows helps pull you out of the doldrums why not give Youtube a try? You can enter just about any movie or tv show title you can think of and someone somewhere will have uploaded it. Or there’s Amazon prime and others.
