I was having a restless night’s sleep last night, and then I heard a loud buzzing/beeping noise. I didn’t know where it was coming from as my phone goes on silent mode once my alarm is set.
When I realized, I read the warning on my phone, and as the noise of the wind and rain was deafening, I went into my en-suite bathroom and closed the door. This is the middle of the house, and I sat on the toilet until the wind started quietening down.
I think in the 33 years I have lived in Florida this is the 3rd or 4th time I have had to do that. I know after the football is over, I will put the local news on, and find out who got hit. I pray no one was injured or died from it.

We got a tornado warning in Wellington around noon. But then it was cancelled. Active weather!
